## 1. Who we are

The NexToon Operations Team ("we", "us", or "our") operates the NexToon native iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains information handled on your device and information sent when you use the service. You can contact us at PitterAquilar1496@outlook.com.

You can read comics without creating an account or providing an email address or telephone number. This does not make network requests completely anonymous. An installation identifier and connection information can distinguish an installation over time. Reading this policy or using the app does not by itself give consent to every form of data processing.

## 2. Information kept on your device

The app stores a randomly generated installation identifier, your language preference, and its unlocked catalog configuration on your device. A valid installation identifier is reused; if it is missing or invalid, the app creates another. The identifier is specific to this app and is not an account or an advertising identifier.

Your complete likes list, reading history, reading positions, and recent search history are stored locally. Reading records include comic and chapter references, the last successfully displayed image position, display information, and reading times. Likes include a comic reference, display information, and the time you liked it. The app does not upload these complete local lists or provide account synchronization or cloud recovery.

Recent search history is shared across interface languages and holds up to ten successfully submitted terms and their search times. A successful search with no results is also recorded. You can remove a term or confirm clearing all search history. These actions do not remove likes, reading history, or cached images.

The reader database is excluded from iOS backup. Other preferences and files may be affected by iOS backup or app offloading. Operating-system backup behavior is separate from any NexToon synchronization service.

## 3. Information sent to operate the service

API requests include an installation identifier. Depending on the request, they also include the platform, app version, requested language, catalog configuration, filters, pagination values, and comic or chapter references. Submitting a title search sends the submitted keyword; typing alone does not send a search. Removing a local search term does not remove a search request already received by the service.

Opening comic details or requesting a chapter sends the relevant comic or chapter reference. The service can therefore receive information about individual content requests even though your complete reading history and image-level reading position remain local. A chapter request, including a background update, does not establish that you viewed every image.

The app sends a cold-start activity report when a new process first enters the foreground and a warm-start report when that process returns from the background. Reports contain the installation identifier, platform, app version, and launch type, and are intended to measure activation, daily activity, and retention. Merely losing focus does not trigger another report. The app does not send periodic activity heartbeats or automatically retry failed reports.

After a new local like is saved in the image reader, the app sends one count-increase event with the comic reference, language, catalog configuration, and installation identifier. Removing a like does not send a decrease event. Comic-detail and chapter requests also contribute to popularity counts under the service contract. These events are separate from your complete local likes list.

API and image-delivery infrastructure receive connection information needed to handle traffic, such as the connecting IP address and request timing. Such connection information is distinct from the local history stored by the app.

## 4. Feedback you choose to submit

Feedback from Me is optional. A submission includes your entered text after surrounding whitespace is removed, the installation identifier, interface language, platform, app version, operating-system version, and a randomly generated request key. Me feedback does not attach your complete likes list, reading history, or a comic or chapter reference. It does not ask for contact details or attachments. Avoid entering sensitive information or another person's private information.

Feedback is not completely anonymous: the installation identifier and connection information can distinguish or link submissions. Your text and submission state remain in the form's memory while it is open. The app does not save feedback drafts to its database or files. A failed submission remains available for manual retry, with no automatic retry or submission queue.

The API uses a 24-hour request-key window to avoid duplicate processing of retries. This is not a feedback-text retention period. Feedback received by the service is subject to the retention principles and request process below.

Completing back navigation discards the local draft and stops the app from waiting for a response; canceling a back gesture keeps the form and request. Leaving the form or uninstalling the app does not withdraw or delete feedback already received by the service.

## 5. How we use information

Information is used to deliver requested comics and search results, configure the catalog, display recommendations, maintain local likes and reading positions, cache images, understand service usage through activity and popularity events, and handle feedback you submit. Necessary connection information also supports operating and protecting the service.

Information must be handled for the purposes described in this policy and in accordance with applicable law. Where a separate legal basis, notice, consent, or withdrawal mechanism is required, that requirement applies. This policy does not replace those requirements or treat opening a legal page as consent.

## 6. Storage and security

The app stores display snapshots, reader details, chapter and image indexes, and successfully loaded cover and reading images to improve display and allow reading when cached content is available. Display records contain presentation information and resource references, not complete API responses, media URLs, or media-access keys.

Images are saved as ordinary readable image files in the app's storage after successful decryption and validation. There is no configured cache expiration or automatic removal of old images to reclaim space. Corrupt images may be removed or replaced when loaded again. Media URLs and content-access keys are held in memory during use.

API business data and downloaded image resources use application-level encryption. Connections may use HTTP or HTTPS, and the current configuration permits HTTP. Application-level encryption does not authenticate an HTTP server or provide the transport protections of HTTPS. No security method guarantees absolute protection.

Debug development builds may print request and response details, including installation identifiers, search terms, feedback text, and media-access information, to the developer console. This logging is not enabled in production builds and must not be written to files, crash reports, or analytics systems.

## 7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure providers as needed to operate the service, disclosed with your authorization, or disclosed to meet applicable legal requirements or protect rights, property, and safety as permitted by law.

Any provider processing personal information for the service must use it for the relevant service purpose and provide protections consistent with this policy and applicable obligations. This policy does not authorize unrelated use of your complete local likes list or reading history.

## 8. Third-party services and processing locations

Hosting, networking, and content-delivery providers receive traffic and connection information needed to deliver API responses and images. Processing locations depend on the infrastructure used and may be outside your country. Any international processing must meet applicable transfer and privacy requirements.

The current native app uses networking, image-cache, database, and user-interface libraries. It does not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. Third-party services may have their own privacy terms; this description of the app does not establish every provider's independent practices. Contact us if you need more information about service providers or processing locations.

## 9. Retention, deletion, and your choices

Our policy is to retain information received by the service only for the period needed to provide requested services, address feedback, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and its purpose rather than one fixed period for all records. You can contact PitterAquilar1496@outlook.com for retention information or to make a privacy or deletion request.

Locally saved likes remain until removed, and reading positions remain until their history entries or app data are deleted. Deleting a history entry removes its reading position but keeps any like; removing a like keeps its reading position. You can delete individual search terms or clear all search history. Display and image caches may remain after those actions, and the app has no clear-all data or image-cache deletion control.

Deleting the app removes local app data under normal iOS behavior; offloading may retain it. Uninstalling or deleting local records does not retract requests or feedback already received by the service or reverse aggregate popularity counts. Reinstallation does not provide a NexToon recovery service.

Depending on applicable law and the information held, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a competent authority. Send requests to PitterAquilar1496@outlook.com. Requests are assessed under applicable law, any required retention, and the ability to identify the relevant records; verification may be needed. There is no promise of automatic deletion or recovery of local records that the service never received. The app currently has no account-deletion flow or in-app activity-analytics opt-out setting.

## 10. Children and service availability

NexToon is intended for general comic readers. If you are a minor, use the app under the supervision and guidance of a parent or guardian, meet applicable local age and capacity requirements, and follow the published app-store age rating and content advisories. Where parental authorization is required by law, it must be obtained.

The app does not ask for date of birth or implement age verification. The ordinary/classic catalog configuration is not age verification or a parental-control tool. Contact PitterAquilar1496@outlook.com if you believe a child's information has been handled improperly. Availability of the service and content depends on where the app is distributed and applicable requirements.

## 11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The current English text is bundled with the app and can be read offline from Me in any interface language. A revision will carry an updated date and may be delivered with an app update. Material changes remain subject to any additional notice or consent required by applicable law.

## 12. Contact us
